PlainReads — Project Kickoff Agenda https://plainreads.com/blog/project-kickoff-meeting-agenda An original 45-minute starting structure for a small project. Adapt it to the decisions, participants, and required approvals. Before the meeting Confirm the problem, intended beneficiary, proposed deliverable, exclusions, acceptance owner, important date, dependencies, and decisions needed. 0–5 minutes: Why are we doing this? Record the agreed purpose and beneficiary. 5–13 minutes: What will we deliver? Record scope, exclusions, and acceptance conditions. 13–21 minutes: Who owns and decides what? Record work owners, reviewers, and decision authority. 21–30 minutes: What could stop us? Record dependencies, risks, unknowns, and who will verify each. 30–40 minutes: What happens first? Record the first milestone, next actions, owners, and realistic dates. 40–45 minutes: What did we agree? Read back decisions. Identify unresolved issues and the recap owner. After the meeting Publish the current record in the agreed location. Separate approved decisions from proposals. Give every unresolved issue an owner and a return date. Confirm that participants can access the plan.
